A flat battery at a crucial moment – we’ve all been there. But imagine finding yourself in the Emergency Room (ER) in urgent need of care, only to realize your phone is out of power. No way to call family, look up medical records, or update your loved ones. That problem is now a thing of the past at Medisch Spectrum Twente (MST), thanks to a special initiative and a smart solution: the Bravour Charging Locker.
A Wish Turned into Reality
The idea for the charging lockers came from Aniek, a nurse at MST’s ER. She noticed how often patients and visitors found themselves without a charger and how difficult that was in stressful situations. Staff members temporarily lent out their personal chargers, but this wasn’t an ideal solution. Aniek made a wish through the "Wishing Tree" initiative by Vrienden van MST, and this set the lockers realization in motion.
