A number of charging carts in Bravour's product range have the option of being managed remotely.

Especially when a large number of charging carts are managed on site, it is nice to do the monitoring and various checks from one central location.
But it also has many advantages for the 'small user'.

Remote management is possible with OnView technology.

What is OnView?

OnView is a web-based application that makes it possible to connect to a charging truck equipped with a small computer.
In order to use OnView, this computer is required, so unfortunately OnView cannot be used for charging carts without this hardware.

Numerous configurations can be set through the applications.

For whom is OnView of interest?

Remote management of charging carts offers many and varied advantages, making it interesting for all users; from 1 charging cart to dozens of charging carts under management.
Of course, these benefits will vary by product and user.

  • Teachers: laptops/tablets are charged and ready for use at the beginning of the teaching day
  • IT staff: more efficient work. No more physically going to the charging cart to manage, but set from a distance.
  • Finance manager: by charging laptops during off-peak hours, power usage is cheaper and the intelligent system ensures that the carts never overcharge, resulting in longer battery life and lower power consumption.

What advantages does OnView have?

OnView is enormously flexible to set up according to the needs of the organization: individually, in groups, by room, by floor, by building or even the entire organization.

So you choose the optimal settings which best suits your organization to reduce CO2 emissions, save money and remotely control the charging trolleys of your mobile devices.

Key features of OnView

Advanced charging settings

In particular, OnView ensures that devices are charged sustainably and price-consciously.

  • Smart charging - the system detects how far the devices are charged. As soon as the device is fully charged, power to the device will be stopped; energy-saving and extending battery life.
  • Timed charging - you decide when and how long you want to charge the devices through a charging schedule you can set yourself.
For example at night when the off-peak tariff applies or during the day, when this is necessary due to the intensity of use of the devices.
  • Green Charging - you can also set up 'Green Charging' through integration with National Electricity Grids, charging is automatically started at the moment of minimum CO2 electricity production.
Charging is automatically scheduled; twice every 24 hours at the optimal time at night and during the day.
  • Automatic charging - Smart and timed charging can be scheduled to happen automatically whenever you want using a 24/7 web-based schedule stored on charging trolleys.
  • Number of devices - at the beginning of Smart & Green charging cycles, the onView system determines and reports how many mobile devices are being charged.

Security

  • Door lock sensors - the open / closed status of locks is continuously monitored and reported. So you get notifications if a door is unintentionally open.
  • Temperature - the battery life of the mobile device is temperature dependent. The temperature measured at the top of the power compartment is continuously monitored and managed through user-definable settings and alerts. In case of overheating, the power fails.

User Settings

  • Custom rules - allows users to set alerts and rule-driven actions to facilitate trolley management, including notifications for completed charging, number of devices being charged, doors unlocked at the end of the day or opened outside business hours, unplugged and more.
  • Live view - provides real-time status information displaying each trolley on a choice of map, list and tile views, including charging status, power consumption, temperature and location.
  • Reports - provide historical information on charging times and times, number of devices charged, power consumed, temperature, a chronology of activity and more.
  • Updates - local trolley software is updated regularly through automatic "over the air" updates.

User Interface

  • Web Console - supports the full functionality of the OnView platform including a summary dashboard; individual & bulk device monitoring, control and detail editing; schedule creation; rule creation; location management; user management; event, state & variables historical reporting and a knowledge library.
  • Mobile app - provides easy control and monitoring of multiple trolleys simultaneously and user configurable notifications.
  • Local Device Controls - a screen and robust touch buttons provide status information at the trolley and the ability to initiate various charging modes. There is also an option for access control with an access code.
