The Zioxi Volt BYOD charging locker is a freestanding, smart locker solution for the secure storage and charging of up to 16 laptops, Chromebooks, and tablets up to 17 inches. Each device is stored in a separate compartment with its own power outlet.
This BYOD version is designed for environments where users bring their own power adapter and charging cable. The adapter plugs directly into the power outlet in the locker compartment and is stored in the compartment along with the device.
BYOD charging with a power outlet in every compartment
Each of the 16 locker compartments has its own AC power outlet. This allows different types of laptops, Chromebooks, and tablets to be charged using the user’s original charger.
The individual power adapters and charging cables for the devices are not included. Zioxi recommends using the adapters supplied by the device manufacturer.
RFID Access with Zioxi onView
The VLSB-16S-M-O-G is equipped with MiFare RFID access control and Zioxi onView. Users can access a locker using compatible RFID cards or tags.
Zioxi onView allows for the configuration of various usage modes, including personal lockers, shared lockers, and lending modes. Audit logs, notifications, reports, and rules for locker management are also available.
onView also provides insight into locker usage, energy consumption, temperature, and events. Green Charge can be used to schedule charging times to coincide with periods of lower CO₂ emissions from the power grid, where this functionality is available.
Flexible locker settings
The locker is designed for laptops, Chromebooks, and tablets with screen sizes up to 17 inches. The door opening of each compartment measures 460 × 310 × 83 mm (D × W × H). The internal space is larger than the door opening.
For larger devices or protective cases, we recommend checking the dimensions—including the connected power plug—in advance.
The locker features a separate electrical compartment accessible from the front. This ensures that the electrical system remains easily accessible for maintenance, even when multiple locker towers are placed side by side.
The doors feature a robust double-walled aluminum construction and can be opened up to 180°. The locker stands on a metal base with adjustable feet. Multiple lockers can be placed side by side to form a larger locker bench.
