Deliveries to UK & Outside the European Union
Since our products are shipped from within the European Union, specific conditions apply if the place of delivery is located outside the European Union.
Conditions for deliveries outside of the European Union
We ship goods outside the European Union under DAP (Delivered at Place) terms. This means that import duties, customs clearance, VAT and any potential costs after customs clearance must be paid by the recipient.
Do I need a VAT number and an EORI number?
Yes. For deliveries outside of the EU, we only accept orders from companies that can provide both a VAT number and a EORI number. Only government-exempt institutions are not required to provide a VAT number — however, an EORI number remains mandatory.
Do I have to provide administrative documents?
If any documentation is required for customs purposes, our team will always inform you in advance. We will guide you through the process to ensure the shipment can be cleared without delay.
What happens if the delivery is refused by the buyer?
If the buyer refuses the delivery or declines to pay the applicable import duties, VAT or fees, the shipment will be returned to us.
In such a situation, all resulting costs—such as initial and return shipping, customs penalties or fees, and restocking charges will be invoiced to the buyer. This policy is necessary due to the expenses incurred while the DAP terms are explicitly communicated to the buyer and accepted prior to the dispatch of goods.
What can I expect regarding the lead time of the order after shipment?
- For orders that can be sent as a parcelpost, a transit time of approximately 10 working days applies.
- For orders sent on a pallet, a transit time of 2 – 4 weeks applies.
